Just look at that response over something we take completely for granted now just 14 years later.

Love the camera man over-the-shoulder as the way to show it on the big screen.

And the hula hoop — look ma, no wires! — is just a brilliant, Steve Jobs touch.

    To Pare Down Decisions

You need to remove from your life the day-to-day problems that absorb most people for meaningful parts of their day.

“You’ll see I wear only gray or blue suits,”

    he said.

“I’m trying to pare down decisions. I don’t want to make decisions about what I’m eating or wearing. Because I have too many other decisions to make.”

He mentioned research that shows the simple act of making decisions degrades one’s ability to make further decisions. It’s why shopping is so exhausting.

“You need to focus your decision-making energy. You need to routinize yourself. You can’t be going through the day distracted by trivia.“

President Barack Obama in this Vanity Fair Article titled Obama’s Way

We can put all of our products on the table you’re sitting at. Those products together sell $40 billion per year. No other company can make that claim except perhaps an oil company.

We are the most focused company that I know of, or have read of, or have any knowledge of.

We say no to good ideas every day; we say no to great ideas; to keep the number of things we focus on small in number.

    "
